The sidebar isn't showing up

Make sure the video has captions/subtitles or chapters. Skip the Fluff needs one of these to analyze a video.

"No captions available" message appears

This means the video has no subtitles and no chapters, so there's nothing yet for the AI to analyze.

I hit my 5 free videos this month

Add your own OpenAI API key in the extension settings for unlimited use, or wait until next month for your free quota to reset.

Auto-skip isn't skipping anything

Check that auto-skip is toggled on in the popup, and that the video has already been analyzed (a colored progress bar should be visible on the timeline).

My OpenAI API key isn't working

Double-check it's copied correctly with no extra spaces, and confirm your OpenAI account has available credit.
